Old Footlocker
Footlocker with a German name Wenzel Schwarz on top. Has origianl key. Cast Iron metal on handle and brackets. Measures 11" tall x 21" Wide x12.5" deep. Quite heavy for its size.  
The chest is most likely from around the turn of the century, c.1900. The brown stain is a paint. Provisional value: $100-150 at an auction.
