Make White Clothes Whiter and Softer with Baking Soda
Posted at 18:09, 09/10/2008 by LauraWilliams

We’ve given you quite a few tips for baking soda in the past—clarify your hair, freshen your vacuum, keep your white appliances from turning yellow. Here’s another great idea—use it in your laundry to make your whites whiter…and softer!

If you notice your white clothes look dingy, soak them with soap, baking soda, and water for 2–3 hours. After that, rub any noticeable dark spots by hand to take out the dirt. After you get the water and soap in your washing machine, add a 1/2 cup of baking soda there, as well.
