How to Lose Weight Watching TV

When you want to change your life you probably don't reach for the remote control, but you can do your body a world of good by using your daily commercial-viewing time wisely.

Lifehack notes that the average person watches about 3 hours of TV daily, with 15 minutes of commercials during each hour-long block. That means every day you spend 45 minutes staring at a screen while people try to sell you stuff. If you used that time to get off the couch and do something simple—like stepping up and down on a box—you could lose up to 96 pounds in a year!
