How to Revive Refrigerated Rice in the Microwave
Posted at 21:22, 07/07/2008 by LauraWilliams
Rice can be fluffy, sticky, or chewy—unless you plop it in the microwave. Then it’s probably dry and brittle. To solve this problem, wikiHow suggests:
  • Gently break apart the rice with a fork.
  • Dampen a paper towel with drinking water.
  • Squeeze out the excess water. If reheating more than 2 cups of rice, leave the paper towel very moist.
  • Cover the rice completely with the paper towel, allowing it to contact the surface of the rice.
  • Microwave on high until the rice is reheated.
  • Enjoy!
