Make a WiFi Extender with Foil and Glue
Posted at 19:25, 19/06/2008 by LoriDeschene

You don't need expensive equipment to extend your wireless signal. Try this simple DIY with foil and glue. It just may double the signal strength.

This isn't using your laptop as a second monitor! You are using your laptop as the computer, not your desktop as the computer which is what the title implies. This is good information, I do it all the time and it's a great way to work. It's just the title and summary that are confusing!

It's really working. It took me 15 minutes to put it all together and then checked the signal at distance with and without the extension. Simple and helpful.
