Member Tip: Clean a Sink with Denture-Cleaning Tablets
Posted at 17:55, 19/06/2008 by LoriDeschene
MyThings members have sent in some amazing ideas, and today’s tip is no exception.  Member me2write sent in a trick for keeping stainless steel sinks in perfect condition. She writes:
“My elderly parents have a stainless steel sink that looks like new ... after 24 years. When I stayed with them last week I noticed my mum put 2 unbranded denture cleaning tablets in the sink. I asked why and she said that she has always done that—left the sink half full of water overnight and the next day it would be sparkling. Then she would use the water to clean the draining board too. Amazing and obviously doesn’t harm sink (as tested for teeth!) Also, it’s not an irritant like bleach.”
