How to Find the Cold Spots in Your Microwave

If you don’t have a rotating dish in your microwave, food placement is critical to heating your dish properly. To determine the cold spots in your microwave—the places least ideal for cooking—follow this little tip from Tip King:
Spread a layer of trimmed white bread slices edge to edge over the microwave floor. Set it on High and watch the browning process through the glass door. The parts that brown quickly are sitting on the hot spots.
