Bananas get nasty-looking all too fast, and it can be quite upsetting. Why can't they take their cue from their citrus buddy, the orange?
 Lifehackery suggests pulling them apart and storing them individually. Apparently, bananas release gases which cause all kinds of fruits to ripen quickly.
So don’t go putting them in a fruit bowl unless you’re planning to paint them.
