Protect Yourself from the Bad Effects of Your Mobile Phone
Posted at 03:02, 08/06/2008 by LauraWilliams
Your mobile phone isn’t the safest thing in the world, seeing that it transmits electromagnetic waves—and you hold it pressed up against your head. Luckily, you don’t need to stand by idly as your mobile slowly gives you brain cancer.
One of the bloggers at Symbianv3.com put together an informative post listing steps you can take to reduce your risk. They include:
  • If you have a low signal, do not talk on your mobile. When the signal is low, your phone is circulating electromagnetic waves that are 6–7 times more powerful than its usual ones.
  • Learn your SAR value. If it’s higher than 2.0W/Kg, change your phone immediately.
  • If you talk for over two hours, consider using a headset.
You may also want to consider a SAR Shield which dissipates cancer radiation by up to 89 percent.
