Use Your GPS Under Water

GPS signals can’t penetrate water well, but the members of MSN’s divergrps came up with a clever way to make it work:

Enclose the GPS in a waterproof case. When you need to check your position, let the case float to the surface where the device will be able to grab a signal. Then pull it back down and take note of where you are.
