Keep Packed Clothes from Wrinkling
Posted at 19:22, 14/05/2008 by LauraWilliams

While it’s great to have a hotel-room iron at your disposal when you travel, wouldn’t it be even better if you didn’t need it? Pack smart and you won’t.

Independenttraveler.com suggests several methods to prevent creasing. You could:

Roll your clothes. This will allow you to fit more in your suitcase; they’ll also be less likely to wrinkle since they’ll be compressed.

Fold your clothes together. Take two or more garments, for example trousers, and lay half of one pair on top of the other. Fold the one on the bottom over the pair on the top. Then take the other and fold it on the top. This gives each pair some cushion where you've folded it so it's less likely to crease or wrinkle in the folds.

Use the bundle method. This one’s kind of complicated to put into words—pop over to the source to read their explanation.
