Decoration Tips for Small Bathrooms
Posted at 17:20, 14/05/2008 by LauraWilliams

If you have a sprawling bathroom with his and her sinks, dual shower nozzles, and a spa tub you probably have a ton of ideas for décor. Your options are limited if your tub and toilet fill the room. That’s no reason to stifle your creativity!

Ezinearticles.com offers some great information for getting the most from your small bathroom, including:

  • Painting the wall opposite the entrance a deep shade will make it look further away.
  • Keep items away from the door; unhindered access makes a room look bigger.

Doityourself.com has some more ideas:

  • Try a corner sink basin and vanity.
  • Opaque shower doors make the room look larger.

Southernliving.com suggests:

  • Break up the wall space with tile or wood to add interest. Small bathrooms often end up looking sterile, but they don't have to!
  • A large mirror visually increases a tight space.
