Use Petroleum Jelly to Speed Up Your Internet Connection
Posted at 00:10, 13/05/2008 by LauraWilliams
According to Michael Monett of Landings.com, radio engineers have applied this same principle to their equipment since the '30s. If you find your modem relay clicking off for no reason, take a small dab of ordinary white petroleum jelly and put it on the little gold connectors in every phone connection in your system. Insert and remove the connectors a good four or five times to spread the jelly evenly and to clean off the surface grime inside the connector. The grime is responsible for slowing down your connection.
