Print Webpages Without All That Stuff Around the Edges
Posted at 16:01, 17/04/2008 by Dina323

In order to print just what I wanted from a web page, I always select text and images, then copy and paste them into a word document.

Turns out there's an easier way. Using Internet Explorer, go to Print Setup, then just delete the text in the Header and Footer area:

Of course all that gibberish you just erased isn't really gibberish. It stands for the areas of the page you want to print. Here are a few bits of information you may want to retain:

&w (Window title)

&u (URL)

&T (Time in 24-hour format)

&p (Current page number)

&P (Total number of pages)
