Keep Your Colour Ink Cartridge from Drying Up
Posted at 17:57, 23/04/2008 by LauraWilliams
You save the colour ink cartridge like its gold. Just made a birthday card? Aunt Ethel doesn’t need any fancy red lettering! Printing out pictures from the company picnic? Black and white is far more flattering, no? Then one day you pull out the colour cartridge like crystal stemware you’ve had stored away for years, and bam—it’s all dried up. How can you prevent this from here on out?
Easy! All you need is a Ziploc bag for storage and a moist paper towel to throw in there (well, those and a colour ink cartridge.)
This way, you can keep on saving the colour ink for some special occasion down the road, when the moon is full, and the stars are aligned just right.
