Dell Latitude X200
Score: 70.6 (expert reviews:3 user reviews:10)
Score: 80 Posted 09-Apr-2002 by PC Magazine
The Dell Latitude X200 has much better bones. It starts with a 2.9-pound, 11- by 9-inch system containing a 12.1-inch XGA display, a keyboard 97 percent of the standard size (with 18.5-mm dot pitch) and integrated wireless. To that you can add a 2.5-pound expansion base that holds an optical drive and a floppy disk drive.
Score: 80 Posted 22-Apr-2002 by CNET Reviews
The good: Excellent keyboard; useful media slice; three-year onsite warranty. The bad: Somewhat pricey; so-so stamina with standard battery. The bottom line: For business travelers, Dell's Latitude X200 offers good features and performance, as well as the option of a versatile media slice.

The X200 is a wonder of engineering, with all the necessary performance packed into a tiny chassis. Add to this the well-featured docking station, and the only thing this ultra portable lacks is wireless connectivity

Pros: light, functional, decent battery life, can run visual studio, suse linux works like a charm (with the custom acpi patch). great for non cpu-intensive stuff
Cons: can't change the CPU :), minipci might be expensive if is not already integrated, check all the screws on the bottom are tighten up, otherwise the keyboard bangs against the screen
