SanDisk Sansa m250
Score: 61.9 (expert reviews:3 user reviews:44)
Score: 73 Posted 31-Oct-2005 by CNET Reviews
The good: Available in up to 4GB capacity; solid value; includes FM tuner and voice recorder; compatible with WMA DRM 10 (Janus) and Audible files; decent controllers; on-the-go playlists. The bad: Bulky (but lightweight); no line-in recording; poorly backlit display; only one quality option for voice recording. The bottom line: With its many features as well as its compatibility with audiobooks and subscription-based music, the SanDisk Sansa m200 series is an overall great value.

If you can overlook the dubious design, it's actually a good value player

The SanDisk Sansa m250 provides a nice package of features at a low price. A sophisticated music library sorting lets you browse the music in your player by artist, album, song title, genre, year, playlist, and other useful criteria. With 5 equalizer types, you can optimize your sound for your favorite style of music. You can also use the built-in microphone and voice recording function to capture interviews, classes, and short voice notes to yourself.
