The MyThings Peace of Mind Package is a suite of services created to alleviate post-purchase anxieties, and protect both your users and their possessions.
The Peace of Mind Package has four main components:
With the MyThings e-Receipt service, a digital copy of your customer’s receipt is saved in a secure online space, associated with his or her personal account on your site.
If and when your customer needs it, s/he simply returns to your website to view or print the receipt (and maybe do a little more shopping).
While many items include a limited manufacturer’s warranty, some customers may want the extra protection an extended warranty offers. MyThings offers your customers a selection of top-notch extended warranty policies. Or, if you prefer, we can integrate your own, extended warranty program into this package.
MyThings unique Report-it-Stolen feature, powered by Trace.com, the national database of lost and stolen goods, is the best way to help law enforcement officials retrieve an item in case of theft. We encourage consumers to input each purchased item’s serial number, as well as any special or unique markings, as a precautionary step. We then save these details for them in a secure, online space, for easy retrieval, should the need arise.
Our popular recalls service helps customers protect themselves and their families from faulty products. MyThings keeps track of recall alerts from multiple sources, and alerts customers (on their account page and/or via email) if at any point an item they purchased on your site is recalled.
